Shaky marriage relationship

It was a fact that some marriages does not last. But the thing is, I do not understand why people are getting marries in the first place if they are not committed enough to be with their partner forever. I mean for me, marriage is a lifetime commitment. It is not solely love that will drive you to marry a person butnit involves also a lifetime commitment to stay with that person no matter what. It involves accepting the differences that you have and making some adjustments to make your marriage works. I just can't stand the fact that some people even on their early married life already encounter the annulment or divorce option and just want to get out of it.

A wise friend recently said to me: People change--and unless they grow into the changes together, they grow apart. Many people go into a marriage committed and absolutely convinced that their marriage cannot fail. Then life happens. Sometimes our experiences pull us closer together and sometimes they pull us apart. Each marriage is different and only the people who are in the marriage can know what goes on there. Right or wrong, each person has to figure out how to deal with their problems. Sometimes divorce is not the right answer, but sometimes it is.

thanks for your comment. I agree with you on that point though for me, it still boils down to the person involves on how they can keep their marriage intact no matter what.
