Well tabloids are always trying to make a star go from their good image to bad when it's all just lies and false. Remember the time when they were saying Ciara was a boy but she actually was not. Most female celebrities are always accused of being a man, especially the ones who come across as showing they sexuality in a strong way.
I believe that she is not a man and I think that she is doing it for the attention mainly because newcomers easily fade out of our mind if they do not do something interesting to keep us entertained and even Katy Perry said that she knows what she is doing and that it's an act. Ofcourse she is not a man, if she was - She would do a test and prove to the world that she was, but she has not - and neither has she stated or proved that she is a woman which shows that she is doing this for the publicity. If she did not like it, she would give us evidence but she is obviously loving the attention.
