Every children in the world has a right to be given a name, they may not be able to choose for their own but they have a right at least. Some people don't like their names for various reasons. Some people would pick a fight when their names were insulted. A name is an important thing, it serves as a distinguishing factor for everyone. When I was kid I didn't like my name because it sounded weird and is somewhat very unique but those days were over. My name never fails to attract attention. Feb Leonard is my real name. I was given the name because I was born in February and Leonard was a favorite name in the family. People always mistook me of being a girl upon reading the first part of my name and every time It happened I gave a smile. People would sometimes be interested of my name thus attracting some attention. I value my name a lot because it was given to me by my parents and that's simple thing I really treasure:) What has your name done for you and how do you like or value your name? If given a chance would you opt to change your name? :)

Aw that's not good. I do hope you find something good about your name. I may not know your name and why you think it has only given you shame but for sure those negative things you find in your name would somehow be of advantage to you in one way or another. Our name is our mark and our identifier in this world where everyone is unique. It may not be as accurate as our finger prints but its actually good to be called by our names even though sometimes our name doesn't really sound good and is embarrassing

Indeed. Our names are our mark. Why wouldn't mine be when someone's last name just became my first name. LOL

I really do like my name. As a child, I did think that it was a little too long. However, now I don't have a problem with it. I have come to terms with the problems I had with my name as a kid. Now, I really like my name, and I don't think that I would change my name.

Glad to know that your name means love. You must also be a lovely person and I think your name suits you well. I don't know you personally but it's intuition:)
