Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys  

How can the Dallas Cowboys dominate a football game offensively and defensively and still lose? I'll tell you how! A Tony Romo interception spree! When you throw an interception that is one thing, but when you throw an interception that looks like a punt or kick return you know you have problems. Tony Romo has once again showed that he has yet to fully mature into a quality NFL quarterback. He puts up the numbers but he pays dearly with all the turnovers. In fact the Giants scored all their points off of turnovers. Dallas doesn't turn they ball over they win and they win big.
I also have a gripe with Wade Phillips too! How do you not use your timeouts to slow down the clock? Had they slowed down the clock they would have had an opportunity to make the Giants at the very least run the ball and possibly force a couple yards lose which could have helped that field goal to be a little bit farther away. It is just bad football coaching once again which shows that Phillips may not be the man for the job.
I applaude the Dallas Defense. For 52 minutes they held the Giants in check. Known as a defense that is very soft in the secondary they did a solid job shutting down those wide receivers most of the game. I understand that when your quarterback throws interceptions like that it is hard to continue to go out on the field and stop them after a very short rest. Great job shutting them down and their running backs.

Cowboys after two weeks are 1-1 and now face Carolina. Carolina got destroyed by the Eagles in week one and lost a close game to the Falcons last week. I know the season is young but I consider this game a must win for the Cowboys. The Eagles have possibly got no Mcnabb again this week, but they play a cruddy Kansas City Chief team. Cowboys lose this week it will push them to 1-2 which really could affect the outcome of the rest of the year. Already Dallas is playing catch up and now must not only beat the Giants a second time, but beat the other teams in the division to overpass the Giants. Seems unlikely at this point especially since we know how Dallas plays late in the season especially in December.
I would really like to know what you all think about the Dallas Cowboys and their chances as the season continues. Are we looking at a playoff contender or will they be experiencing the playoffs from home again?
