did you excited when you first met your mother-in-law?

one of my friend are getting married in this lunar new year, and she met her parents-in-law few days ago, she was so upset before going her's fiance's home. she asked me for suggestions, how did she greet his parens? how much should i eat having meals with them? should i clean the house? wow, too many questions. most of us would be upset when ready to fiance or fiancee's home? i do not know the your customes, the same as us or just as usual?

When I first met the mother of my boyfriend I was very nervous, I really was nervous as I did not even know what to say to her or talk to her and as it was the first time I also did not know if she will ask questions or not, it was a very tense moment but when I met her finally and started to talk then I found out that she is just like me, very friendly and talkative.

hi med, most people are just like you i think, being nervous to meet mother-in-law, so did i. i was so nervous at that time, i asked my boyfriend about what i was going to wear, what topic interested his mother, what kind of gift should i buy, etc. and afer we met, my boyfriend told me that his mother was also nervous to meet me,lol.
