One Year Ago Today... A Sad Day For Croatia.

Today is September 24, 2009. it was a year ago today, that Croatian singer and politician Vice Vukov passed away, after being in a coma since 2005, the result of a fall down the stairs of the Croatian parliament building. I discovered Vukov's wonderful music in January of this year, and was sad to learn of his recent death, as I would have liked to have met him. His voice was truly wonderful, and one did not need to be able to understand Croatian in order to appreciate his work. His music had a way of touching everyone who heard it.
