Hubpages - Why You Should Join |
|
As a resident Hubber I can attest to the fact that with time and effort you can and will earn a passive income on HubPages. Many people hear about the site - many go ahead and join. Then one of two things happen: they either lack patience and forget about the site or simply punch through and start to some results.
I've noticed quite a few discussions (several months old) around the site and can't believe how many people don't realise the passive income potential that HubPages offers. You've got a choice of four affiliates - beyond that all you have to do is apply a little SEO, write and publish - then rinse, repeat and have some patience.
The community spirit is helpful/friendly and the amount of help and advice contained with the site is amazing. Seriously, I know that some of the writers are earning $500 and upwards per month.
HubPages gives Google what it wants, the site overall is SEO'd to the max - you really should think about it as another basket in which to place an egg. And if you need any help regarding the site - ask:)

| frogdropping (32) | 4 months ago | Nice one;) Get over there, join and get afeel for the place, how it works etc. It's a genuine passive earning site - providing you're willing to put some time and effort in. I make money from it because I work at it. Like anything - making money online involves some work on your part.
Online get rich quick schemes aren't worth the time if takes to read them, trust me.

2. angryeve (188) | 4 months ago | Hi frogdropping, you have no idea how happy I was to see this post.lol I'm a member there like for a week now. And so far I'm not doing good.hehe i'm still confuse on some things. I read an article by Mark Knowles about how affiliates like Amazon, Ebay and Google Adsense work. I did submit my application to those sites. I got approved by the Amazon, but still waiting for results on the other two. Anyway, one that confuses me is that we get to also earn from hubpages itself, right. But I don't see any area where I could take a look at my earnings?
By the way, I saw you there when I was starting and I think I even read an article of yours. You already have a lot of fans, mine zero.lol

| frogdropping (32) | 4 months ago | Tell me who you are and I'll hit you up. And I wrote a hub about HubPages Help - you'll find it on my profile. All you'll need to read (article wise) is included in that hub. I roped in some of the top hubbers - the ones that really do make hundreds of dollars a month.
Try and read through it (sounds as though you've read a couple anyway) and if you need a helping hand, ask:)
If you read up on the affilate stuff the earnings side should become clearer. I wouldn't hold your breath for Ebay but if you publish a few hubs, wait a few weeks then go back to Adsense you should be fine.

| frogdropping (32) | 4 months ago | I've joined your fan club and left you some feedback on one of your hubs. It really does get easier, once you work out how to write for revenue. There's loads of help and information flooding the site - use the search facilty, check out hubs on the 'how to do it' stuff, look at the FAQ's and hunt through the forum. You'll soon get the hang of it, trust me:)

3. scheng1 (1702) | 3 months ago | Hi Frog, I agree that Hubpages do have passive income potential. I joined Hubpages in Feb 09, but the passive income is too slow. I focus my attention on Helium and Associated Content. Helium pays upfront for international writers, so that makes a big difference. I start to return to Hubpages now that I have download many PLR articles, and in the midst of rewriting them. I aim for less than 10% duplicate. I'm using the content as a base for affiliate marketing for Clickbank too.
