She must be back on the coke again and needs some crack money to support her habit...or there's a book in the works these "Has Been Celebs do and say almost anything to get attention and to turn a buck"...

I don't know much about this story but all I can say is that, we really do not know exactly what happened. There are people who believes in her story and if there are any discrepancies in her statements it could be cause by trauma. Unless we have installed a 24/7 surveillance camera in her household when it happened or did not happen, only then can we tell whether a person is telling the truth. But if we base it upon the findings pf her therapist, it is clear that she really has been in a major trauma.

My opinion is this, why now? If it happened, why didn't she come out with it YEARS ago and while her father was still alive so he could put in his comments. Instead she waits until he's dead to tell her story. How pathetic. No sympathy from me either whiteheather. That's just down right dirty and yeah, (another) a publicity stunt.

I'm sure there is a lot of truth to Mackenzie's story. I'm not sure there is much purpose other than satisfying her own greed for money. Maybe she should have let that secret die with her father. Hss she no shame? Unless.....unless she turns around and helps other women who have been molested and kept in incestuous relationships nothing good will come of all of this crap that she is putting out there. At least she is sober. Let us hope she stays that way, for her own good.

You came to the same conclusion that I did...that she waited until he was dead and couldn't defend himself to say anything. She's 49, this started at say 18...that's 31 years that she waited to say anything. I don't see the point in bringing it up now...other than publicity. I also find it hard to believe that with all her different problems this was never brought to light. Perhaps there is some truth to it but who's to know whether what's real and what's not when you only have one side of the story.

**STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

We'll never really know the "real" circumstances of what had really happened. We can speculate or some might even condemn her for being a "media hog" but really, we'll never really know how accurate it is. I don't doubt that she was raped by her father, but it's bizarre how she would wait so many yrs to make these allegations, when he's dead! Also, now if this started when she was 18 I believe? You're an adult with a "rational" brain and can't make the distinction that this was wrong and to stop it? It's not like she was a child or anything and that's what I don't understand? It's just too bizarre for words. I mean are you really "out of it that much" when you're doing ok that you're unable to stop it, because it sounds like it was an ongoing thing.

i really am torn on this one. she does look bad comming out about it on every single talk show. she also looks bad going on celebrity rehab when she has like 8 months clean. doesn't she belong in A.A. meetings are somethings?

on the other hand, if she was being druged and rapped when she was a little girl, that has deep mental programming and trauma involved. perhaps, one day she just snapped and decided i am going to tell the world on that son of a witch. this certainly could be just as valid. if that was the case and what she is saying is true, she is not disgusting. she is just very troubled. he is the one who is the sick freak, if what she is saying is true...whether or not she "consented" to it.
