yeah,It is definitely difficult to reach the minimum payment without referrals,and we usually don't want to buy referrals because there are so many scams,anyway,to refer others is the most important way to get paid instantly.for me, i join in some forum to do exchange with others,also i joined in gerfer(the link is on my profile) to get credits which can be used to buy referrals for the most of the ptc or ptr sites of mine.

You might try traffic exchanges, it works, is albeit very labor intensive. I got something like 1,500 referrals in the various traffic exchanges themselves, that way my promotions by now run pretty much on auto-pilot. However, I spent two years promoting in those exchanges, and it's definitely not something for everybody. You need a lot of patience, discipline, and a certain madness LOL to do that, since there is hardly any interaction with other users.
Apart from the fact, you don´t only want referrals, you want 'paying' referrals, and that's even harder.
But you might like it, check it out. Try the biggest exchanges, your chances are better there. Good luck.

I will have to agree with others here, network marketing is the keyword, patience and being honest with whom you come across. I always try to show my payouts to my followers on my blog, just to let them be confident with what I do and to show them they wouldn't be wasting their time. So many scams out there and I don't want to be considered as one of them. I am personally always on the lookout for new opportunities, but on the other hand I want to feel confident about what I join, so if people dont show their honesty by maybe sharing a proof of payout etc, I will usually not join them. hello. i would try microworkers. they give you $2 just for signing up, but you use the $2 to advertise your site. i got 17 referrals in less than an hour and over half of them are active. it kind of work like the mylot tasks, you tell people to visit your site/link, tell them what's required, then they post proof ( what ever you tell them to post back to prove that they completed the task ) back to you, and you approve them if they completed it correctly. you have the chance of getting 22 referrals for free with the $2 the site gives you for signing up. this really do work. i find that it works best if you are trying to get referrals for ptc or survey sites. i really hope this helps. also what sites do you need referrals to, i will join a few if i'm not already a member. have a nice day.

I'm a member of 2 legitimate sites that do help you get referrals for your programs. I have received many referrals for my programs from those sites. If you want, add me as friend and I will give you the links.

I have asked my self the same question many times and so far I have no idea how all of this works. In every site I am a member of I am on my own I have also tried to rent referrals but so far I have paid more than what I get back from them or there are times that I get the same amount I put in. I have tried to tell my friends about the sites but most of them if not all they just look at me as if I was craysy. There was one friend that did join two of the sites but so far he only stayed in one he was also a member of this site but I guess he did not like to type or read . But I do wish you the best of luck so you can find the right way to get referrals so you can earn more than what you are making now.

Unfortunately I don't know if I have the best advice because while I have a decent number of referrals on all of the sites I'm currently working on, very few of them are active! And active referrals are key. Because I don't wan't to put any money into finding referrals I simply advertise on my own, free website. I then post my website link all over the place!

Do you have friends? Do you have family? They are your best referrals. Invite them. Go to forums. Reach out. Make friends. Do blogs. Join social networks such myLot. Join forum. Be mindful of forwarded messages. They may not all sign up but they are leads. This is work but it is fun.

I invited my relatives. I created blogs and joined traffic sites to send traffic to my blogs. I also made ads in a website where I am a member of. In 2 months, I had 1 sign up,lol....
