| What do you think about Windows 7?  | | | |  I've had a look at Windows 7 and it looks impressive. I'm just wondering how many people out there have already purchased it. XP worked fine for me and I had no complaints. Then I was coerced into Vista as I bought a new laptop at the beginning of the year. Just when I got used to Vista (I'm not yet a fan!), Windows 7 is being released. Why can't Microsoft stick to one thing and sort it out completely? Another thing that makes me mad is that people who bought pc's with certain operating systems after June, can upgrade free and I have to pay!

| |  I havent seen it yet but my neighbour has it and he said that it isnt compatible with any of his programmes yet. The reason microsoft do this is because they make more money this way! Even tho we are in a recession people will still waste money on things that they dont need!

| |  I got a new computer which had Windows 7 installed and I have to say I love Windows 7, it is a whole new league compared to Vista which was an utter failure. Windows 7 is pretty much a super refined Vista that actually has functionality and doesn't have the numerous problems that Vista had. It definitely is a step in the right direction for Microsoft and for the people who are using XP, try Windows 7 because you are missing out. The numerous problems with Vista and the outdated XP warranted a release of Windows 7. Basically Microsoft wants to milk out money from the people by making them pay for an improved Vista after sticking the crappy vista on them in the first place.
