Best Metallica song live...  | |  Well, the question is, what is your favorite Metallica song to hear being played live? What song works best at a concert, in front of a huge crowd? Or what song would you like to hear, that they don't play often?
For me, the song that works best live is Creeping Death. The crowd chanting "Die!" while James sings the bridge...it's awesome! Also, the song has so much energy, I think it sounds great live.
For rare songs, I love hearing them play Orion. I know why they don't play it often, and I can understand, but I think that's what makes it so much more special when they do play it.

That one besides some of the classics like Enter Sandman make me feel pumped up and ready to roll.
