after we graduated from college majority of my batchmates started their own business. i was fascinated by what they have told me that they can now buy the things they want so that tickled my heart to start my own. i have tried so many things already like selling sandals, clothes, perfumes but none of these clicked.

It is very common at the beginning of who wants to be a business person to just go ahead with the flow, the tendency, just see what's "hot" and try to comercialize it.
There are many things I could tell you and pretty sure you'll get advice from some mylotters, but one of them is, try to do something that relates to what you're good at ... if you can, if not, try the second best thing and so on.
One very good reason is because you will get better when you do what you like and if you know what you deal with it should be a walk in the park for you.
