what are the chances of a comatose person to survive?

Well, all the people that I know who experienced having comatose conditions didn't survive long. And if I chances are that I will be in coma, I would just like to die than to be a burden to the family that I love. But we are not in a position to let somebody die. If there's a chance of living without the medicines, I think that there's a chance of survival. But if the life depends on those medicines, then I doubt. Let's give it all to God.

Hi emailocto,My husbands gram mom was like this for weeks.It was caused by having a diabetic seizure,She may have come out of it fine the doctor said. Under these hopeful circumstances,why would her husband decide to pull the plug only after 2 weeks.I personalty would never want to be put on machines to live,If its my time to go,I want as little money put out in the event, Something like this would be done.Its down right cruel if the person has little to no chance of surviving. Making it very difficult for the family to keep seeing everyday with no hope.This is why,I have a living will in the event that something such as this money could go to better use. I guess in the end every situation should be addressed, in the proper fashion.
