i think its the most common thing that our partners influenced on us...foods! so you also like the foods that he likes? is there any food that you use to eat before that you didn't eat now just because he don't like?

well, come to think of it...hmmm i can't think of anything! surprised?! hehe coz my husband never asked me to change anything from me, he never told me to stop doing this or that and do this or that...most of the time, i just change coz i like and i feel like it will be better for me & him...i don't know if that's good but that's how our life & relationship is...
i think, i am still the same old me...the same attitudes just more mature now in some things...

but one thing that my husband do and i still don't is...waking up as early as he is...hehe coz eversince, even before we got married, he's always an early bird...and i am always the late comer...coz i wake up late...

It sounds really great that your partner doesn't try to impose his thoughts on you and he allows you the freedom to remain, as you are. Changing something about you, as per your own wishes is entirely upto you and if you think, it is for the better, there is no harm, in fact it is appreciable on your part.
It is good that he gets up early and allows you to sleep. Here also, I get up earlier than my better half and she gets up after half an hour, after me. But once she is out of bed, she works like a rocket and executes the house hold tasks at a super sonic speed, which I cannot match........LOL!
(BTW, my partner expect that I should change myself according to her choice........ )

haha...yes deepak, i think i am lucky enough to have a husband like him...but of course there are some things that he taught me...like how to entertain visitors in the house...hehe or how will act properly in front of his colleagues! hehe yes, but don't get me wrong here...its only because, i am 7 yrs younger than him and so my way is very different from theirs...hehe and so i need to be a little mature and formal in their presence...haha but i guess, he is just half successful on this haha coz like what you have said, we have this natural traits that's difficult to change! huh!

i guess, most women are like that...haha they can finish the households even in just one click! haha...my husband also notice that...that even i get up late, i can still finish my works in the house for the day!

You are indeed lucky, you not only have a good husband you have also got some good friends (like me. ..LOL!). I can understand your point that when you are younger to your hubby he would have taught you certain mannerisms and traits to you so that you could run your married life smoothly and successfully. I feel that there is no harm in learning for our betterment and whatever you learnt from him, would have helped you to sustain in a better way.
You see some of the natural traits cannot be changed and efforts should also not be made to change some basic traits of ours, you would have heard - "old habits die hard"......LOL!
It is really great to know that you are also very quick in disposing of your house hold affairs. Hope you matches my better half's speed........LOL!
As far as I am concerned, my better half wishes that I should be a good cook/chef like her (I am a poor and slow cook, BTW......LOL!). I should be able to do dishes, moping and cleaning, dusting and washing, as quickly as she does.........LOL! (Pl. don't laugh)

yes, i know someone from my childhood who marries a man from India! hehe but i don't have any communication with them now for i am no longer living in my hometown and i don't also know where are they now...
actually, he's a man from India selling some stuffs in the community here i live, he also do some lending...and because he's living here for long, he come to meet this girl and he marries her...

Generally, Indians are nice and mature people. However, you can say 'exceptions' are always there and there could be black sheep in a herd of sheep. I won't contest about your claim that you faced an impolite and rude customer, while working in a bank. It is really sad to know that there are such people. While interacting with you people rudely he did not think that he was ruining the image of his country i.e. India.

yeah, i agree...some people don't realize that...that hen they are not in their own country, they should behave well, coz they are actually carrying the name & reputation of their country...
in my case, well, i have met so many clients who are also annoying, even my fellow Filipinos...but this one just hits me, coz he really are irritating...we come to a point that my other office mates hides, just avoid him and his demand...huh! and that's not good for me, coz most of the time i am the one left there to entertain him...huh!
what i just do, is do what he wants and give his demands...and in the end, he becomes nice to me and always looks for me to do his transactions...*sigh*
