Liverpool definitely much much better team then AC Milan. Liverpool play an entertainment games so far with much fluency. They also keep their best player (Gerrard and Torres) and they always try to build the team around them. AC Milan might have a strong financial situation compare to Liverpool right now but they did not use it to strengthen their team. They average age for AC Milan team is 30 and it is not good for them in a long run. They also sold their best player just for money. And they will hardly find a replacement for him.

AC Milan might won Champion League 7 times compare to Liverpool (5 times). But we can not forget that English team are barred from Champion League for 10 years when Liverpool still at their best. Spain and Italy club take an advantage from the absent of English club to conquer the Champion League.
