Prefer long or short Hair!!

Hi Book,

It seem you have a very soft hair since those ribbons won't stick to your hair all the time.
You can find some hair clips for your hair. Nowadays,there are plenty of design of hairclips in the market.

Sometimes, I will just a small hairclip to my hair with little make-up and I am ready to go shopping.

perming hair will make your hair looks more,but it need to have proper treatment done after we perm our hair,or else, it will looks very dry.
Once a month, I will have my own hair treatment to prevent my hair getting dry.
So do you colour your hair after perming it?

hi shia,I wont have my hair coloured after its permed cause that will harm the hair even more. But I dont have a perm in right now I am really happy to just let it grow and go to the hairdressers every 8 weeks or so to get the tips cut and the spliss cut out too.

Don't colour your hair at the sametime you perm it.Do it a week later and it won't do harm to your hair.This is an advice from my hairstylist when I decided to colour my hair last year.
It looks more modern and trendy after colouring my permed hair.Staying in black colour with permed hair is bit weird.

hi shia my hairstylist said same to me. How does your husband like your permed hair with color in? Hope he likes it too and wont bug you to not color it again.

Before I go for colouring my hair, I did ask my husband's idea. He is quite Ok with my decision. He said: if you feel you like it, then just go ahead.

When I came back home from salon that day, he saw me and said "not a bad colour",but actually I prefer it to be more reddish.
I choose bit darker colour,I also not sure which colour suit my hair and worry it will look so scary on me. To play safe, I chose the brownish colour.

I always get an advice from my hairstylist before I decided what to do with my hair everytime I visit a salon.

I only been to salon once a year during November. I prefer to have a fresh look before my holiday trip to my hometown.

Keeping long hair actually has more work to do.
You have to comb it every now and then to make it looks nice all the time.

Short hair is more easier to maintain especially when come to washing hair.
Long hair needs longer time to wash compared to short hair.

I like to see a small girl with long hair,looks pretty and sweet,especially if you were to tied her hair with some colourful ribbons/hair bands,it really looks nice.

My daughter is used to having her hair done everyday. I am surprised she doesn't complain at all when I do her hair. She gets compliments when her hair is down but most of the time I have it in braids, ponytail, or other ways. I'm not a good hair stylists when it comes to different looks but she always has her hair done.

Too bad I don't have a daughter and I won't have chance to tie up her hair.
My son is having a short hair and he trims his hair every three months.

It is always a headache when comes to bring him for his hair cut,he will cry before we enter the salon and refused to go in. No choice, I have to hug and carry him in to the salon.
He always sit at my lap during the haircut,my whole shirt is full of his hair,it seem like I am having my haircut too.

Do you have any tips to share on how to overcome kid who scare to go for haircut?

I have 4 boys and we never had a problem with them getting a haircut. We have the hair cutters at home so me or my husband just do it. I think they learned to get haircuts as early as I can remember that their hair was long enough. My mother in law tells me that they have to bribe her other grandson to get his hair cut. I just get the cutters everytime I see the hair look too long in the back of their neck. Maybe you should try to do that so they get used to having the trimmers on them all the time. Maybe he will feel more comfortable at home too getting some kind of cut.

I ever tried on your technic and it did not work well for my boy.
He just refused to get his hair cut.
He is actually feel scare when he saw his hair drop to the floor. He was curious on why so many hairs were dropping down.
Everytime when he saw his hair dropped,then he will cry.My poor boy!

I ever tried out another idea,to put pomelo skin on my son's head for 3 times during his shower. According to eldest folks, it can help to bring away his scareness of getting haircut, but it also does not work for my son.

I totally run out of idea on how to make him feel comfortable during his hair cut.At least no crying and he will sit quietly for the whole process.
Anyone has better idea,do share it with me.Thank you!!

Frankly speaking, I do not like to see guy in long hair.it looks scary to me . Sorry, I am not offending any guys with long hair. It is just an impression that I got it when I saw long hair guy in front of me.

My husband is keeping his hair short too,he has his hair cut once a month.
As for me, I have my hair cut once a year,so save alot of money.

I understand some guys like to see girls in long hair. I did ask my husband before whether he prefer me in long or short hair. He seem did not have any preference.As long as my hair is nice and tidy, it is fine with him whether I am having a short or long hair does not matter so much.

I like my hair to be rebonded as it is very easy to manage, No need to comb my hair often.and it always looks straight and neat.

I am just wondering how long is your hair now??? waist lenght??

I never keep my hair till very long,now my hair is getting longer as I have not been cutting it for almost 10 months.

Since I am perming my hair, I like to keep it long,it looks better rather than having short and perm hair(looks like a ball to me).

You can consider have some hair treatment to make your hair grow healthier and it will look more neat and nice.

Now it grows up to waist length but I cut it to 3/4th size of it. Thanks for the advice and I will take hair treatment as advised by you.

Remember not to do it so often.As for me, I did it twice a month.

I won't never cut my hair short again,I prefer to have long hair as my face is round shape,having short hair will make my face looks bigger.

I am on perming now. I am thinking of rebonding my hair this coming November.

Let me tell you my story,when I first keep my hair long, I feel bit uncomfortable as I have to tied up my hair during my school time. It is more tidy to tied up my hair while I am studying.
I am not getting used to it and I am scared my friend will laugh at me as I never tied up my hair before.
But I am wrong, my friend never laugh at me.

So now, I am in long hair since I was in my high school and i love to have long hair.

Oh..you plan to keep your hair till your knee level. That is very long and from my point of view, it is difficult to maintain especiall when you wash your hair, doesn't it feel very heavy and you sure need more time to wash your hair clean.

My hair length is above my waist and I have my hair permed last year November.
Since year end is coming forward, I am still thinking whether to rebond or perm my hair this year.Big headache for me to decide which one to go.

Yes, waist lenght:) once happend something funny to me, cause I went to visit my aunt, i had a lot of time without visiting her and she realized i had my hair longer, she told me i have beautiful hair and suddenly she pulled it cause wanted to be sure it wasn't fake hahaha a lot of people think my hair is fake but it's not, i love my hair:) as soon as i can i'll upload a photo so u can see;)

Oh,so funny. Your aunt really go pull your hair down to double confirm it is real or fake.
Don't you feel your head heavy with such a long hair? Will you encounter hairdrop?

Now my hair is above my waist, I encounter hairdrops as my hair is getting longer.
Maybe I should apply some tonic to get new hair grow up again.
