First of all, make sure the site is designed in a way to attract a certain customer. For example, when I shop online, if I see a plain bland site, I look elsewhere. Look at shopsueyboutique.com...her site is pretty and it makes me want to shop there because it LOOKS trendy. Use color and catchy phrases...advertise wherever you can! You need to reach your customer! I also took a look at your site and you have very expensive items showing up on the main page...Try putting pretty, but less expensive items to draw the customer in. I know if I see a site that has really expensive stuff right on the main page I move on.

I also miss the feel of the material when buying clothes etc. and also the hard core bargaining which is a essential part of market purchase.

I have had problems about making purchase online in the past..and I had stuff charged to my credit card without me knowing it....
it took me soooo long and a lot of work to finally have these charges disputed and some of the money, i totally lost......
so i try to avoid it as much as possible...
Now i have some cash in my paypal..that's whatt i use so i don't have to risk my credit card anymroe........
