HydroSurge Oatmeal Shampoo - Oatmeal shampoo, apple scented does a wonderful job for dry itchy skin on dogs. Available at Walmart.
Have you consulted a veterinarian about using k9advantix more than once monthly? She shouldn't still have fleas but perhaps the k9advantix is causing her a problem. My dog is also allergic to fleas. He is a chihuahua, I use Frontline Plus once monthly for 4 mos then stop for 2 months and repeat the cycle. I found a really good shampoo at Walmart of all places...lol It's a bit pricey but works really well and also the conditioner. The brand name is HydroSurge, I bought Oatmeal Soothing shampoo (apple scent) it is to relieve dry itchy skin, I got raspberry conditioner and his hair is so silky and his skin is wonderful. I have tried all kinds of oatmeal shampoos and find this brand the best. It comes in 18oz bottles and was 6.00 apiece at Walmart . Her is there website, with some information if you are interested. http://www.hydrosurge.com/faqs.aspx Hope this helps your Lexi, Mari
