| | When it comes to the best. I personally believe that i would make my starting lineup with isiah at the 1, jordan at the 2, Mcgrady at the 3, the big ticket AKA kevin garnett, and hakeem the dream at the 5. | | | | | | | smsky2009 (114)

| | The NBA is the best it's ever been in my opinion and there really are some great players in the NBA nowadays and several teams are really stacked. Here's my Top 5. 1. Kobe Bryant Kobe is an incredible player who has made many game winning shots in clutch time and I have never seen anyone else make the number of contested shots that he does. How he can make a three pointer with Ron Artest or Shane Battier right in his face is unreal. 2. LeBron James LeBron is a beast of a player, he has scoring ability, rebounding, passing. He has lived up to his reputation and the reigning MVP is just going to get better and better. Some of his dunks are unreal. 3. Dwyane Wade The current scoring champion has shown what a talented player he is over the past few seasons. He is a great passer and an underrated defender who can block and steal the ball. His scoring has improved to the point where he's right up there with the current scoring greats. 4. Chris Paul The New Orleans Point Guard has become the best at the position. He can score big when he needs to and the fact that he is an incredible passer and a very fine rebounder for his size makes him all the more brilliant. Could end up very close to Magic as the greatest Point Guard in history. 5. Dwight Howard The Orlando Magic Centre has improved every season and is still only 24. He is an amazing rebounder and can dunk with the best of them. If he develops a deadly post spin move then he could be one of the greatest big men of all time. | | | | | | | | | | Top Basketball Shoes -57% Compare prices now and save up to 57% on quality Basketball Shoes! www.Basketball-Shoes.news72.com | add comment | | | |

| | Lebron , Kobe, Carmelo, Dwight Howard and Garnett if he ever gets healthy again, though some are saying he's not the same after that injury, I guess then Dwayne Wade makes it next. All players listed have ability to shift and take over control of a game. | | | | | | | | | | training for basketball SKLZ Basketball Training Aids- Rebounders, Defenders & More SKLZ.com/Basketball | add comment | | | |

| | My top 5 NBA players of all time are: 1.) Michael Jordan - Of course, who won't? He's arguably the best player who set foot on an NBA court. Jordan turned the Chicago Bulls into a solid playoffs and title contenders ever since he joined the team as a rookie. He led the Bulls to 6 NBA championships, won numerous MVPs and individual awards and is the NBA's best scorer of all-time (in terms of points per game) and third all time in total points scored (next to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Karl Malone). More than his basketball antics, Jordan is an epitome of hard work, discipline, and determination. He's got unquestionable and unparalleled will to win and stand out. Chicago never had the best line-up during their title runs but Jordan was able to lead them above the rest. The New York Knicks were always better than the Bulls on paper and kept on adding players to deepen their roster yet they always fall short to the Bulls. Other players got tremendous skills but what made Jordan a cut above them is that aside from the skills, he's got the heart for the game. 2.) Allen Iverson - Speaking of heart, I think Allen Iverson's got the biggest. Standing just 6'1 tall, Iverson is a dwarf in the land of giants. He's the smallest NBA MVP and the smallest player to ever win a scoring title in a single season. Iverson's got great skills but it's his heart that makes him special (minus the attitude). Despite suffering many pains, Iverson continuously endured them just to play. He was god-like during the 2001 NBA playoffs where, despite of many injuries, he continued to play on and sent the Philadelphia 76ers to the Finals. Too bad the Lakers were just too much for them and they bowed out, 1 game to 4. Consolation? The 76ers defeated the Lakers in game 1 sending a shocker to the world. The Lakers were undefeated entering the finals and was groomed to have a perfect playoffs and easy series win against the 76ers. Iverson denied them. He's the heart and soul of the 76ers for years and it was evident on the way he played and how unexpectedly the 76ers have gone with him despite the limited line-up. 3.) Ben Wallace - Not much scoring, not much flare, not much style, not much hype, Ben Wallace is pure hard work. He made a name for himself by doing things that a lot of other players aren't willing to do. It's a fact, Wallace's basketball skills are far worse than some college players but his heart and focus is much more than some NBA superstars. Wallace is a pure example of "hard work" really pays off. He works as hard as a horse on the court. Defense is the name of his game. If I'm a general manager, I'd rather start a team with Ben Wallace than a Stephon Marbury. A blue-collar worker in the NBA, Wallace is a gem that each and every team really wants. Just ask the Detroit Pistons. 4.) Tim Duncan - 4 titles since joining the San Antonio Spurs. Tim Duncan sticks to basketball fundamentals and simply gets the job done. Duncan is a leader more than a player. He and Greg Popovich is the cornerstone of the Spurs' recent decade success (San Antonio Spurs being named as the team of the decade). Duncan plays decent offense and defense and can really bring the best out of his teammates, one thing that separates champions from mere winners. Despite his age and the presence of more able and dominant big men in the NBA, Duncan remains to be seen in the spotlight. His basketball IQ is high so as his attitude and approach for the game which is far more important than skill in an elite state. 5.) Earvin Johnson - No doubt he was nicknamed "Magic". Johnson is one of the players responsible for turning mere basketball into entertainment. Johnson used to dazzle fans with his spectacular array of passes and made the Los Angeles Lakers a hot commodity during the 80's. Add to that his winning shots and great attitude, Johnson's got the charisma as a superstar. Even during his rookie year, Johnson already showed flashes of being a legend. At 6'9, Johnson is listed as a point guard but can literally play any position, he even started as a center in one finals game and led the Lakers to a win despite playing without star Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Numerous titles, MVPs, and individual awards, Johnson went down as one of the greatest players to ever play in the NBA. He remained humble though despite his superstar status which made him a cut above the rest, a trait which is kinda rare in superstars. My top 5 of the active players are: 1.) Kobe Bryant 2.) Dwight Howard 3.) LeBron James 4.) Dirk Nowitzki 5.) Steve Nash | | | | | | | | | | Basketball Shoes Find Basketball Shoes Near You. See Actual Customer Reviews! Local.com | add comment | | | |
