the unwanted place to travel you've ever gone...

One place was Hat Yai, which is located near the border of Malaysia on the Southern Thailand side. I remember seeing allot of rough faces and places as well as hearing gunshots in the streets whilst i was in the hotel room. I dont think i left the hotel at all, a very rough place i would not ever visit again. The rest of Thailand, including Northern Thailand,Koh Samui are very lovely places indeed

I had to go to Medan in Sumatra. It was noisy,dirty and smelly. I did go there in order to go somewhere much better. I went to see wild orangutans so that made going there worth it. I sailed from Medan to Penang and was really ill after eating a salad.

AS I get older, my ideas of traveling have changed. There are places I wouldn´t go alone, even if I want to see them. There are others that are coveted by most of the people but I would not choose to go there in the first place. I travelled a lot through Europe when I was young and I´d prefer to repeat my experiences in the south of Spain, in Italy or finally go and see Greece that to go back to Germany, France or Switzerland. They are wonderful, but not for me anymore. Now I don´t want to see beautiful buildings of works of art (I´ve seen so many) but I would love to be near warm people. And I encountered those in Spain and Italy. And although I have never been to Greece I have the feeling that I´ll find them there too.
