Flu Shot season again of the year

So, from the radio, billboard, and other advertising sources, Flu shot will be available everywhere of the year again. You can either go your local clinic, or nearby pharmacy stores, such as Wallgreen, CVS, etc........ As matter of fact, in the facility I work at, they also provide flu shot too, it requires employees to sign up who volunteer for the shot. I usually don't want to sign up, because from my point of view, this flu shot seems useless. A friend of mine, who got flu shot last year, she still get flu, and sick right after she got that shot. So, what is the point of getting this shot. So, how many of you planning to get this flu shot this year?
