After four days...I got the chance to visit mylot again. I'm here at my office in Makati City,Philippines..and got here so early I decided to start a simple discussion...
I'm really sad (grieving) for what happened in my place and the rest of my neighborhood. Typhoon Andoy hit our country that resulted to devastation of many houses, cars, and other properties.. many people lost their shelter, food and other basic necessity. Most drastic are people who suffer injuries..there are people who are still missing and more worse there are lives lost because of this tragedy. Until now, we don't still have electricity..flood are still present almost anywhere.
This is the time that I appreciate what I have, even the simplest thing, even just a smile from a stranger and a helping hand means so much. I know our family didn't suffer a lot compare with other people around us. What important to me, even without anything I still have my family beside me. I'm praying that all of our people will overcome this challenge and difficulties we are all facing right now.
I never appreciate life more than ever.. Life still goes on.. There is always hope..
Have you ever faced tough trials same with everyone around you?

hello friend,
I lived here in Global City, thu we are not affected that much,i seen my neighbors being soaked with waters too. Some neighbors whose floors were low and some areas who were lower than the main road being flooded.
And by night time, news starting to give latest reports and news live in every channel,it really makes me teary eyed watching how our countrymen struggling for their life. That was really scary and heartfelt moment to watch.
thanks that you and your family were fine too.One best thing we can offer to our kababayan(countrymen)is PRAYERS.
Take care my friend and keep moving on

fortunately i have never yet experienced natural disasters, fires and the likes, but sisters, my mother and father did. everytime it got struck i was not in the place. when my father's house got burned i wasn't there but my sis was.
then i started my own family, at my mother's house, their place is always flooded, my other sis and bro are the ones helping her as we live in the province very far from mt mother's place. the last typhoon, the flood went up to the first floor of their house nd they had all their things carried up to the second floor. That was really a sad thing that happened.
i have had many tough trials though, the toughest of them all was when i got hearing impaired six years ago... like you said life has to go on... things happen for a reason, we cannot explain them now, but in the future to come we will understand why it happened.
