your experiences with eHow

I have been doing ok with ehow, but expect to do quite well with them in the future. Right now, I have over 80 articles.

There isn't really an average income per article. It just depends on the popularity of the article I believe. And also, the way that you make money isn't with page views it is when someone actually clicks on an ad in your article. I am not sure that it states that anywhere in the guidelines.

For example, I have one article that has been viewed about 120 times and it has only made 9 cents, to date. I have another article that I just wrote last week, it has only been viewed 4 times, but has already made me 33 cents. So, it just depends on the articles that you write, and their popularity.

As far as word count, they do have a minimum, but I am not sure what it is. They usually like for your articles to be 4 or 5 steps, and if you have 35 to 40 words per step, you're usually ok.

I have enjoyed writing step by step instructions articles on ehow. I have been there over a year. I started out when I was unemployed as well. I got 114 articles as of today. The first month I started I made $3.65, but over time it got into the hundreds. I stick it out and determined and the forums gave me lot of encouragement by hearing about ehow members who have been there for a very long time. I stick with it, because better business bureau gave them an excellent rating and report. I believe the minimum word count is 150 words, but it was less before. They pay great on some articles. I was stunned and amazed when I wrote a simple coupon article, and received $47.00 for it. I wrote article on losing weight, started off $1.07 and went up a $1 each day for 14 weeks. Some I received 62 cents and 12 cents, .83 cents and it just stays there. You write articles that are in demand and popular. As the economy is not so good, some articles that would be good to write would be about 'how to make money, saving money, coupons, groceries, supermarket. Write articles relevant to the season, autumn, Christmas, christmas dinner, gifts. Recipes have not given me much money. Read other people's articles. Some of the mature ehow members says, when you write 100 articles or more, you start earning big money. It has been true for me. People have written articles to help you as newbie ehow. Just put newbie on the search box on the homepage of ehow and get some helpful advice. Read, rate and comment on other people's articles and then add as a friend. The best thing about ehow, you can write as much as articles as you want. Some have written 500, 1000 articles. Write articles on a variety of topics, about the home, relationships, money. Demand Studios is the owner of ehow, and those writers who sign up for Demand Studios will be assigned to write for ehow.
It's much better to work through Demand Studios, because you get upfront payment as well as long term passive income. If you sign up directly for ehow, you do not get upfront payment.
However, Demand Studios do not hire newbie. You have to build up a sizeable portfolio before you can apply as a writer with Demand Studios. The top writers in Demand Studios make more than 30k per year.

I am really very confused about this site. Some say that it depends on which ads on your article are clicked. I mean what I presume is that it does not generally depend on how many views your article gets. But it depends on how many times your ad in the article has been clicked. Now the first thing for me to understand is that which are the ads and how are they going to come in my article. I mean, have to write as a marketing blah blah or what?
If you are unemployed - which I feel very sorry to say - and love to write, then man, you are from my category. I mean I too love to write. If it is only the love for writing, then I don't think, you should go for ehow. Write on other writing sites. There are many around.

I'm confused a little too about how ehow pays. Is it page views or ads? And if it's ads is it Google Adsense ads or other?? Thanks for any definite feedback.

can you please explain little more about the site because i am confused with the discussion.How they actually pay by page view or clicks or any other alternatives.Please explain in detail bro
