Oh my gosh! I just watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang with Val Kilmer and Robert Downey, Jr. Now I had seen part of it before but not all of it. It was prime Robert Downey, Jr. material as far as I was concerned. He always does the outlandish ones. And the two I love too. Val has been a heart throb of mine since i saw his potential as a true actor in 'The Saint'. He played several different characters in it and had a romantic lead of Elizabeth Shoe. Great movie too! Anyway, and who doesn't love Robert? He is such a dear and such a good actor to boot. He has done all the taboo things in Hollywood but still gets work. Now that has to say something about the man, huh? Okay, so take these two greats and throw them head long into a noir dectective yarn directed by Lethal Weapon writer and ,I think, director Shane Black. The humor can be aquated to Buffy and Angel fame. Robert narrates and throws the audience into a first person narrative of this hapless hood and gay PI looking into a mysterious death storyline and takes us a perilous journey through Hollywood with dead bodies and bad guys. the two main characters talk back and forth like the characters in Buffy and Angel did. All silly and juvenile. Such fun. Robert's girlfriend at one point calls him "whitey" as in 'white knight'. Thought that was great! And, after a long chase Robert's line is: "Ok, all done, finished" as he lies on the top of a car he just fell onto. And the scene where Val's character pulls a gun out of his pants to shoot the bad guy who has them tied up is one of the funniest scenes in the movie. It is such a fun movie and one that keeps your interest and keeps you laughing to the very end. If you haven't seen it you should. Again, here my plug for Netflix. They can get it to you in a day or two and the cost per month is minimal. I have never had a problem with them. Rent it and enjoy. But, if you did see it what was your favorite parts and which character did you enjoy the most? I think seeing Val as a gay guy has to put him in the favorite character realm. He was halarious. I enjoyed them both though. Which was your favorite? Thoughts on the movie and how different it was, please!

I hope so! I LOVE NETFLIX!! I love you too! Tell him to get a clue. It wasn't really a chick flick but may be alittle beyond him. Is he a teenager or younger? Let him choose one and act like your interested. Good for moral.
