We had Lynette worrying about how she was going to cope with having more children at her age, Gaby trying to control her teenage niece, and Bree carrying on her affair with Karl. A new family, the Bolens, moved onto the lane Unsurprisingly, they had a secret; the mother had a big burn scar on her back, and the son and father both seemed to be on the creepy side. Oh, and Susan's daughter Julie was strangled and left for dead!
