Listening to the book The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown  email this discussion to a friend?

I don't know how many people are reading The Lost Symbol right now, but let me tell you...it's very intriguing. There are so many point in this story that goes back and forth in the past, for the characters in the story. You can never tell what's going to happen in this story.

I like the fact that it works with the Masons. While I'm not a Mason enthusiast, I find this group interesting to learn about, especially since I first watched the movie National Treasure.

I read the Da Vinci Code as a matter of necessity. My teen-age daughter wanted to know what the hullabaloo about Dan Brown's controversial book was all about. I agree that Dan Brown is a good thriller writer. He has all his data scripted like it was fact. But he also created false ideas in the process of writing a novel that could become a bestseller. So, Dan Brown is nothing to me but a user. However exciting his mason story is in that Lost Symbol, I am not reading him again. There are better writers like Ludlum and Grisham.
