How long is your attention span?

I've been in training (classroom like) for almost a month now and I have obeserved all my work mates have a very short attention span. I too have developed a short attention span. Is this normal? How about you, how long is your attention span? I can't last for a straight hour paying attention to my trainer..

According to what we've discuss on Teaching Strategies by Sandra De Youngs, Our attention span or the listening abilities takes only 15 minutes. That's why many teachers should be humurous so that after 15 minutes they could jump to some jokes that may back them to the lesson.

i don't know if how long is my attention span to stand a training or a talk/lecture. the training might not be an interest to you or the methodologies used might not be that interactive and dynamic to keep you going.
it will help if you discuss this concern with your trainer so that he can do something about his methodologies...to involve the participants---more active interaction!
