|  I am wondering which player is better than the other. Messi or Roanldo. I like ronaldo more than messi because he is a record paid player in the history of FIFA. Real Madrid paid him millions doolars to get his services. Wjo in your opinion is the best?

| | I will be fair on my judgement and not favour any player. I am a United fan and of course cheered Ronaldo when he played his mark at Old Trafford - he was exceptional and we did get the best out of him. Messi to me is this day and age opy of Maradona he is a genius, can do absolute wonders.
To judge these players now was easier than before. Becuase now they are in the same league and play in similar positions. We therefore must look at the stats and the affect they make to the game and the team.
Ronaldo 7 goals in 5 games - Messi 5 goals in 5 games.
Based on Stats CURRENTLY Ronaldo is the more affecive player and doing better than Messi at this stage.
But I shall contradict myself and say once there will be a few twists and turns in the league I think Barcelona will win, Messi will be player of the year and win the Golden Boot and so he will be the best player.
But it is too early to judge in my opinion, once the league is finished then we can judge. | | | | | | |

| | True but the year gap is only 1.5 years and to judge them like this is not efficient. Take Giggs for example he is nearly 36 and is form of his life and yet he is more than a decade older than Ronaldo. So, to be fair take out the ages and compare and I personally would state that Messi was at his best last year and this year he has started with a BANG. We will see once the league goes into its latter stages and then we can judge. till then we can say that form plays a big role in shaping the two players' fate and where they will end up. | | | |
