In most term insurance, many policy holders became upset over the idea that they could be paying premiums for 20 or 30 years and then wind up with nothing to show for it. On the other hand, whole life insurance has a great deal of difference among other insurances. This produced a benefit to both the policy owner and the insurance company. By guaranteeing the death benefit and the cash value, the policy owner was assured that insurance coverage would be in force when the insured died. The insurance company benefited because with every premium payment made, the net amount at risk, and thus the cost of insurance, was reduced. To be honest I am not against of having this whole life insurance. In fact I have known friends that really benefited from it. One can really compare a life with and without the whole life insurance. In many needy times, this whole life insurance could really help. It was just sad that the insurance companies here in our place aren’t that stable. Most of them come and go. Only few of us here have their whole life insurance. One of the primary reasons is that the stability of the insurance companies. Another reason is that I have known some friends who were not satisfied of the services bestowed by these companies. If I have to compare on saving my own money in a bank than giving them out to insurance companies, I guess that would be more beneficial in my part. Aside from that fact that the money we save in the bank also grow through the interest, we can also get it anytime and anywhere we want it. Also, paying more to buy whole life, variable life, universal life makes no sense. These policies do eventually build up cash value but you can save a heck of a lot more by investing the money yourself in just about anything. Others also prefer commercial insurance where applications are held online. A friend of mine had his queries like if whether he is still really covered by these policies even if he’s outside the country. Is there really some kind of stipulation about having a residence because he’s not interested in travel insurance as he considered it a waste. do you have your whole life insurance?

i have a life insurance from my husband's company, we have all been insured and it has been deducted from his salary with little amount only because their company has shouldered it all, it's one of their benefits. for me, i don't think that it's good to have an insurance if i would be paying it monthly from my own pocket, it's much better to save from bank account.

yes that's what i don't understand.if it's one of the benefits then why did the comnay deduct the fee to the wage of your husband? availing the life insurance is quite hazardous for me since many companies here in our place are not that stable. i prefer putting my funds in the bank or in a legit and stable cooperative.

I have an insurance policy which will last for next twenty years. After that I need to renew it or think about taking another policy. I need to pay a certain amount of money in every three months for this policy. I also have a health insurance policy which pays for all my bills if I am hospitalized for more than twenty four hours.

I have a life insurance, though it's only until I'm 50.. after that, I if I'm still alive, I'll get the same amount plus dividends and interest... My plan is to get myself another life insurance that would be for my lifetime.. I think when I start earning more, I can get myself another insurance.. I think insurance is really a good investment, it's better than saving your money in a bank. the trick is you really have to choose an insurance provider which you think can stand the ever changing economy, and you know will last until your dying days.

I don't appreciate and hesitate to get a life insurance because some company insurance is not assured that they still working on their policies after years that going to pass by.I can't appreciate it because my educational insurance is not yet being refunded after the company being down. It is always said that their is no budget yet.

Yes, I have one whole life policy insurance. I bought it when I am 22 years old. It is now participating in the insurance bonus. But the amount insured is very minimal. When I leave this world, it is not much because of the inflation. I also invest in endowment plan which I will get some fixed amount on every 4th year till the policy maturity date. The set back was it sill expire on a fixed period of time, by then I am not insured anymore. It is perhaps a good plan for saving. I also bought some educational plan for my son. I don't think it is worth it. Save money in you bank account is much convenient. However self discipline is very important..
