English is a great language, don't you think?

I don't mean it's better than the others, it's not, definitely. I say this in the context of mylotting where we, who are from different parts of the world can communicate with each other. I am not saying that it is an easy language to learn either, in fact it is complicated with all the tenses, number, case and agreement of subject and verb and a lot more. Other languages are more simple grammar wise.
There is no way for us who are not native speakers can speak the way they do but at least we can put our thoughts into words, imperfect as they are, are understood and reacted upon.
Aren't you glad you learned English? I am and I continue to learn.
Any thoughts?

Yes, I do agree with you. It is a good language to use and I'm definitely glad that my parents taught me to speak English. Despite the fact that there are other languages that I would love to learn, I'm glad that I can speak it. Like you, I'm not trying to say that it's better than any other language. It's just as good as any other language, which exist around the world.
