I maintain my own website and use different sites to help promote traffic to my site. They also offer banner advertising and I have a couple of banners made but I don't know where to get them hosted because you have to have a url for the banner in order to get advertising to it. Does anyone know more about this?

Can't you upload the banner on your own site? When you upload the location is the banner URL. I am using photobucket.com. They are giving more space to host our images. Imageshack.us also is a image hosting site, but they ban many IPs.

Thank you so much for that response. It is so simple that I did not even think of it. I post other banners all the time on my site so let me try putting one of my own on there. Thanks again

Can't you upload them to your own web hosting space? In fact, there are many websites that allow us to upload images(your banners included of course) and gain a unique URL for one picture. For example, a free service Shareapic can help you do that well. Shareapic.net is a free image hosting and photo sharing service. And you can gain some money fot it pays users to host their pictures and image galleries. Photobucket is another one that offers image hosting and free photo sharing.
