All I can really say is that rushing into anything is never a good idea. It's best to take your time and take each step when it feels right for both of you, not when people tell you it's time or even when you think it's time. When you're ready for each step then you'll know.

I have known a lot of people who separated who are on the situation you have just mention (A,B,C & D) and they never mention that the reason they broke up is because of their reason to live in or not.
