Doctor recommended 90 ml of "Brandy" every day as a medicine ....

I've had asthma for most of my life, and haven't heard of this as a remedy until now.

The thing is, asthma is a life threatening condition. If your friend were to have an asthma attack, he could DIE from it without the proper medications. They have specific asthma attack aborting medications, called bronchodilators. A little research shows Brandy can do that, supposedly, but getting an actual inhaler would be better.

If he has an asthma attack though, I wouldn't rely on the brandy. I'd head to an emergency room, since it can kill you! It doesn't take long for an asthma attack to go from mild, to deadly. Please warn him to be careful.

There are also preventatives that can help prevent asthma attacks. You can find a lot of information about it online.:)
