is white lie bad?

i started telling white lies when i got a boyfriend. before i confessed to my mom that i have a boyfriend before i sued to tell lie that i don't have a boyfriend and just suitors. i feel guilt by telling a lie but i am also scared i might hurt her.

If the lie you tell could have some bad effect on others, then its bad. A white lie means its a harmless one and could not put you in any bad situation. We are not perfect but telling them the truth later on, will at least give you the peace of mine. Parents are sometimes overprotective, but no matter you do, they are there to listen to your stories.
