What is mylot reputation?  |

 Recently i saw one thing from the mylot page where i respond to other person.That is above my respond there is one star saying your reputation is 53/100.Can anyone tell me what is the meaning of that?

Your star (rating) and reputation shown how other mylot members rate your posts (discussion, response and/or comment). It doesn't mean your posts need to be perfect or helpful, for you to have a + rate but usually if you give that ingredient in your posts, you will have higher reputations because more people would give a rate to your posts.
You reputation can be up and down. So if you get more + rate then your reputation would be higher and if you get more - rate then it would be lower.
It is not good to give a - rate to someone else posts just because he/she has a different ideas with us. But if it is a racism remarks or something not unwise posts, it is deserve to be given a - rate. Remember, your reputation also effected if you give a - rate to others.

But the highest is 10 (100/100 but never see it before, the highest I ever saw is 99/100) and the lowest is 1 (some say there is a case where someone have 0 reputation). So basically your position is in the middle. I see most people here have 9 or 8 in their star. | |

| akuler (1217) | 3 months ago | Your star or reputation is counted in your earnings algorithm. So if you has higher reputation, your earnings will be much higher from the same posts that you make.
Other then that, there is nothing else except maybe, just maybe, others doesn't view your posts seriously.
But it is normal for people who involve in the religious or politic discussion has a lower rating because a lot of people give a - rate there when you are no in line with them. | |

The more posts we participate and more possible we are,
our reputation will increase.
If we relate with the people more, we will increase in reputation.
It's quite
happy
to increase in reputation,
but it's not too important and something that's not desperate.
