Oy now you got me into the atmosphere.
I actualy managed with the tram and the machines, but a friend of mine who lives in Budapest kept telling me I mustn't paid because the service is not good...He said the same thing to one of the ticket controls who caught him red handed and believe it or not, she agreed lol

That just reminded me of a crazy thing that happened to us when in Hungary. Ok, well we didn't know that you have to pay a toll to use their freeway. We had rented a car and then after driving 10 min we were stopped by a couple guys in a van. Now they didn't have any kind of official uniform or anything. They asked us if we'd paid to use the freeway. Our first question was where is the freeway? Because we were just driving on some poor roads and that definitely did not appear to be any kind of freeway. Anyway the guys kept insisting that my husband get into their van to buy the ticket or they'll arrest him. He kept saying forget it, he'll buy the ticket but he's not stepping into anyone's van and for them to buy the ticket and give it to him. Well a screaming match broke up as the men became quite agitated, and in the end they agreed to buy the ticket themselves and give it to my husband. That was just insane!
