This pretty awesome guy named Efren Penaflorida, has been recognized for his advocacy in teaching some street children with the help of his pushcarts. He actually put up a team called DTC “Dynamic Teen Company” who teaches unschooled children with the use of their pushcarts that have books and other materials being used in ordinary schools.
As a result, he had been awarded and nominated by different awarding bodies in the Philippines and just now, he made it up to be on Top 10 CNN Heroes. Please continue to vote for Efren Penaflorida as your CNN hero.

I admire this person for sacrificing to be able to teach the chilren in the streets. I think I watched him already I can't remember what show. He deserved to be voted and he is a good inspiration to all of us that we can help others in our own little way.

I've seen this guy over facebook and I do voted him as well. He is a good example to everyone. People like him makes me more proud to be a Filipino. Efren deserves to be recognized..Truly modern-day hero

I have read about that in the newspaper yesterday. Efren said that he didn't expected to be nominated in CNN Hero. I really admire this guy from the Philippines. He's truly another Filipino worth to be proud of. I am also a teacher but is truly amazed with the level of his dedication. Being a teacher is really hard and what more in his case that he reach his hands to those children who cannot afford to study in a regular school. I am a fan of his advocacy. Let us vote four him. Truly another Pinoy milestone.
