I mean the use of cellphones. Usually flirting in the workplace stops at 5 o'clock in the afternoon, and maybe a little bit longer on the way out. Now it continues as one drives home and even after the person reached his house and up to the wee hours of the morning.
The Phillipines is called the texting capital of the world. People here just love texting. You notice this everywhere. In offices, in the streets, in restaurants and even while driving. In a way, ready access in communication is good but it can also be used to do undesirable acts.
What do you think?
Do you think that this is a contributory factor?
Why is that?

I agree that cellphones contribute to the increase of infidelity because you got to meet a lot of people through text and if that person interests you most you would do everything just to him/her better and its bad when you're with someone already. It's not bad to have textmates and all but if you're in a relationship I think it's not proper to flirt around because you're just committing a mistake that could affect the life of the other.

yes, infidelity can exist in that perimeter but its always choice. We had driver in the company i use to work for. He was married and he talks about his sexcapades with me but no specifics. He tells me stories about his encounters with his textmates. I would tell him that he has to stop that because karma will hunt you and its gonna happen anytime.

I do agree with you because today, there are lots of issues about infidelity from text messages over the cellphone. it's very easy to get in touch with somebody from cellphone so most person even the married one get caught from it.

Cellphones help people who want to make an infedility but we can blame technology for doing that. If you want to betraye someone else you'll do it even using a telegraph. lol.

As a form of communication, cell phones really do affect marital infidelity. I see some colleagues and friends having two or more sim cards (one is the legitimate one and the other is for their text mate). Sometimes they even have an a.k.a. not to get caught.
