The other day, I renewed my driver's license. I travelled to the land trasportation office only to find out there is a new requirement. I went back home to look for my tax account number and since I couldn't find it, I ended up going to the Internal Revenue office and again another set of requirements. I was about to leave the office when the guy at the desk told me, it's ok he found my files and give me my number. I returned to the land transportation office to undergo medical and drug tests. The doctor told me that my blood pressure is a little high. I told him if you are in my place running from place to place your blood pressure will shoot up too. So after a little rest he checked it again, and as expected it was still high. I told him it's alright, I'll just go home, get some rest and come back tomorrow. He said wait, If you want to, I have a pill here that will bring your pressure down and for a little amount, you can take it. To cut the story short, he gave me a clean bill of health. I returned to the processing window and find myself to be the last one before the cut off time. My papers went in and I have to wait for another 2 hours before my new license was issued. All of these troubles just for a driver's license. I tried to keep myself cool all the way but it's a terrible job. There are many things around us the drive us up against the wall. They do drive us crazy in many ways and we must have some ways to keep our sanity, otherwise we will lose our minds. What is your secret in keeping yourself cool? any similar incidents?

I believe that God never gives you a situation that He and you cannot handle and as an old teacher of mine said, "for some reason you are right where you are supposed to be". The anxieties and joys and pain you live through are there for a reason and someday, sooner or later you will find out why. In the meantime, keep a smile handy and enjoy the ride.

I keep mine by being optimistic. I really try to see things positively even if it's not going positive for me. I try to match things with reason and convince myself that it would benefit me in the end. Everything requires a little sacrifice
