Are you fond of watching local movies?(your country)

hi simonlee! how are you? well yes, i like watching our local movies...i enjoy it even if its corny sometimes! hehe (but of course not all movies...just some.) when i watch it in cinema, i choose what movie to watch so that it will worth my money as well as my time...if its from the actors & actress that i like, then it surely makes me satisfied... but sometimes yes, if we didn't get satisfied in the movie that we watched, whether its local or foreign, i also want a refund! hehe and i feel like i just waste my time for that...and regret watching it...huh!

Dear SimoneLee, Have any sweet dreams last night?..LOL I love movies very much! I normally watch it for FREE. I will try to get those premier tickets, free preview or sneak preview. Got to watch it free and earlier than the actual screening date. 'Sometimes it's not a quality movie than expected. You want a refund!' Can we do that?. I don't think so...... It reminds me of that song sang by Lenka 'The Show' The Lyrics : I want my money back, I want my money back! Just enjoy the show.... There are some quite interesting movies by local production. Some comedies and lagendary movies. However I do not watch them. I will wait for it to be screen at our local television during festivals! Cheers and take care!

Honestly, no. I'm really not a supporter of the local movie industry. The first and only time I voluntarily watched a local movie in the cinema was when "Yaya and Angelina" came out. LOL, I couldn't help myself. I don't really watch the gag show skit, but I just thought it would be funny. Well, it was funny the first few times Angelina said "whatever yaya", but after some time the movie got old. I guess that kind of humor is best served in small doses. I don't necessarily feel that I want a refund, but it's highly unlikely that I will be watching another local movie any time soon.

It really depends in the type of movie that is produce locally. I have a high respect in the movie industry in my country, just as long they don't pirate stories from other countries.

Yes, a local producers making quality movies this past years. I do watch them. Especially in December where we watch several Filipino movies in theaters to support the industry. Most of them are quite good too, without those usual plots most movies have in common (singing, toilet humor, police always at the end, protagonist with bullet proof body, etc.)

Me, I have colonial mentality...lolz..Maybe not.. I like to watch movies that interest me and pass my criteria. I watch Korean film, Chinese film, Indian film, Japanese film, European and American film...Okay I watch any film that interest me..but Filipino film?..Its been 10 years I think since I can say that I watch and like that movie..Gone are the old good quality films.... I don't say that we don't have good actors and directors..but because of productions cut..Its hard to produce good quality movies..And also lots of pirated movies. If you want me to watch Filipino movie again..stop piracy.. Let our Movie Industries earn money so that they can produce good quality movies.

If the movie appeals to my interests, I will watch it but other than that, I won't - that goes for any movie from any country & not necessarily from my country - Australia

We have a lot of good movies that are made locally. They weren’t the greatest quality a few years ago but nowadays the standard has improved a lot and we’ve had overseas stars appear in Australian films too and the quality is as good as the American and English films.
