Pool and Snooker...Which One Better For You???

I like to play pool. I haven't ever seen or played snooker, so I wouldn't be able to say that I like one or the other better.

With pool, one person breaks. If nothing goes in, it's the other person's turn. If a ball goes in, then that player gets to shoot again. Their color (either solids or stripes) is what they have to stick with for the rest of the game. If they make the eight ball in on the break, they win and the game is automatically over.

After that, you don't want to make the eight ball in, until you get all of your color in first. You must make the ball that you are shooting at, into the hole. And you cannot bounce it off another, unless you call it. Like 6 ball off of the 2 ball.

That's the basics of pool. You take turns. If you make a shot, you get to keep shooting at your balls until you miss one. Or you scratch. A scratch is when you make the cue ball in the pocket. Then it is the other person's turn and they start at the same end of the table as at the beginning of the game.

Snooker for sure its very amazing need more focus and skills

I think snooker is more difficult to play because it's harder to pot the balls because the pockets are smaller than pool. However, both have their own set of rules, be it 8-ball or 9-ball pool compared to snooker. I enjoyed both though. Although i play better in pool.

Hi there, i used to play pool. It is a good sport. You need to have stragedy and force to push the ball using the stick. Lol . One of my favorite billiard( i do not know if pool and billiard is the same) player is my kababayan the great efren bata reyes are known and called as the magician. He is a good and a strategist player. Can i ask you what is snooker? I dont know what is snooker is, what is differences in billiard and pool? Thank you

i like both but i play snooker, coz i love the game

This is an interesting discussion and I am sure that a lot of people have opinions when it comes to pool and snooker I am definitely a pool player and I think it is a lot of fun and I have never played snooker but it also seems like a lot of fun and I do not play pool very often so I am not very good at it,but I like playing it for fun instead of trying to win,and me and my wife and our friend went and played pool the other day and it was a lot of fun,have a great day,good luck with your life,all of your mylotting goals,Happy Posting.
