Are you fair in dealing your precious time and appointments?

Honestly guys, I would confess, I am not fair. I couldn't avoid this but mostly I never did it intentionally. I mean it's case to case basis. Let me explain this;
If I would have an appointment with someone who is, let's say, a public figure or a very influential person in our society, of course I would come earlier than the designated time of our meeting. Like reporting for a job interviews of course you have to come earlier also than the time of the interview.
But, if the person whom I committed to see at that time has grudges with me and if I feel like let him wait til I come later I would do it...
I know it's unfair but sometimes we can't control our emotions....
Other cases that I would be late in coming on some of my appointments would maybe of some other priorities that have a time conflict with the other one by over estimating time intervals...
How about you guys, do we have same attitude?

I always try to be on time to any appointment I have, although sometimes I am running late and it can't be helped.
I heard a long time ago that not being on time to an appointment is an emotional issue where you don't have respect for the person that you have the appointment with. I think to a point that is true, but not always.
I can leave really early sometimes and still be late, traffic jams, trains, all kinds of different reasons, I think the beast thing to do in those cases are to either call if you can or apologize as best you can when you get to the appointment.

Yes you got it right..if you can't make it on the right time at least he/she let him/her know by calling and explain the reason why...or maybe some other instances that can't be really avoided. Thanks for the good respond...

hehe...daddy charge me as guilty! hehe but not always...just sometimes.
maybe its because, sometimes we tend to take others for granted, like me, sometimes i get late to meet my friends...specially my close friends...coz i know that they will understand me , but i am never late for job interviews or meeting people in higher position...yes unfair but its reality...
but i like to change this practice, as much as possible i want to be fair to everybody and respect their time as well...
huh! that's why we need to learn proper scheduling! hehe to avoid conflicts in schedule and must know how to prioritize...coz we never know, sometimes we are already hurting other people and makes them irritated to us...

Hello iloemi, sometimes it's easier said than done...whatever we are going to plan which would be the right one still it can't be avoided because that's already the way we used to it...
we could just maybe minimize, especially to what you said mostly happen to your close friends. Better you tell honestly at least I know earlier...

Important person or not... i always make it a point to arrive early or on time during appointments... since i feel that would give me a leverage during interviews by making a good first impression...
If i am meeting a person who i do not like... i will still arrive on time but would leave if he or she is like 5 minutes late... i don't like wasting my time and most people who know me knows that...

Hello my friend..maybe you're a rightful and fair human he he he. Yes, me too, I don't like to waste my time for nothing...sometimes one of the reason why I came late with some of my appointments was because I have to utilize the remaining hours before I would go for that appointment which is I know not really right...thanks for responding...
