it's nasal allergic rhinitis, mine is used nose spry,the main causes of these allergy are the pollutants, change of weather conditions, and certain food. my doctor advise is to ovoid those irritants and drink 8 glasses of water.
During extreme attack of this allergy i sometimes had a severe headache and clogged nose and runny nose.

Yes, my son was suffering from sinusitis. As parents, we thought of a lot of other ailments he may have but not this . Our son gets sick almost all the time and ran up quite a large medical bill in our family. After sending him to the government hospital, I coughed out almost RM3,000 to have him treated at a private specialist hospital. So, they gave him medicine for his sinus. However, the trouble did not end there. Soon, his fever and headaches returned. So, it was back to the government hospital. The next thing we found out was that tonsils was the cause of his fever. So we got it taken out of my son. since then, h has been fine. I thank God for this.

I used to get alot for sinus headachs than I do. Since I am now rerired and just do a few hours of work a week (sometimes alittle more) not being in an office all day with the smells you mentioned no doubt helps it alot. What helps me is a shower or washing my hair as bith of those things help my sinus to drain better. My nose is the opposite of funny, its sorta like a cement truck and all clogged up so I have to breathe through my mouth.

Dear blue_raine, I can understand what you are going through. I've always had a perennial cold and running nose since childhood. I have no other go than to live in the city, but a few simple measures have helped me cope with the problem.
- Try covering your nose, throat and ears with a scarf or a hankie while going out
- IF you have the cold already, try applying a vaporiser like a balm, which will aid in mobilising the mucus and after a few minutes wash it off with hot water. This, I've found clears a heavy head and stuffy nose
- I'm not sure about the kind of cuisine or food you are used to. But this has helped me: a nice spicy dish of crabs(made the indian style) or a hot steamy cup of chicken soup
Above all, try improving your immunity through diet and medicines.Consult a good doc.

Hi blue raine, I am also sensitive to cigarette smoke and tend to have the same symptoms as you. If only we could splash water on the face of the smoker if that should make him more sensitive, then I definitely would fetch the nearest bucket of water and throw it over him (or her).

One time, my friend brought me to this disco bar where everyone was of course dancing and a lot of people were smoking. The place was like a fume-filled coffin and with all the smoke I inhaled I may have been good as dead for 4 hours.

I hate the smell of cigarette smoke. I really do,
