Hi friends,
How often do we see M.S Dhoni in our television set these days apart from playing in a cricket field?
Yes, this man is now a brand ambassador for so many products and he has made it look very easy. He is not playing for India for a long period of time but definately has made a mark in all of our hearts.
Honestly my first impression towards Dhoni was a village guy making in the Indian side and I had every doubt whether he would be able to sustain his place due to his poor batting technique and not so good wicket keeping skills.
But he proved many others and me wrong. He is now one of the most successful captains in our Indian cricket history and in no time he has achieved this status. Also his attitude towards the sport is magnificent and I like the confidence in him, which he carries in the cricket field.
So friends what’s your opinion on our young charismatic captain? Do u think he is over hyped at times and it’s just a matter of time his fame will fade away? And his endorsements will affect his Cricket career in some way or the other?
Or u think he is really talented enough to captain our Indian team and also play the way he is now for a long long time?
Cheers,
Tutul

Mahendra singh Dhoni as we all know is one of the most prolific wicketkeeper batsman and the most successful captain(according to win loss percent)in the cricket world today. He is one of the hardest hitters of the ball and his cleaver planning and mind blowing calmness at pressure situation has won respect all over the world.
He led an inexperienced young Indian team to triumph in the inaugural t-20 world championship. He is the no.1 ODI player and took India to no.1 ICC ODI cricket ratings.
He was a typical village boy. From a ticket collector to the highest earning cricketer his journey has been amazing. We should all salute Dhoni.May god bless him so that he will achieve more success and make us and India proud. We just love Dhoni.........

Hi,
Yes he has made a mark in the International arena in a very quick time. He is not only a good captain but a fearless player which is so good to see.
A poor villager selling tickets having so much confidence in himself is an example for so many. One can say nothing is impossible in life if your outlook towards life is good, after watching Dhoni's success. I feel so proud when i c this man getting so many praises worldwide.
Cheers,

He is a rich man now. other than from cricket he earns from endorsements and products and modelling for products.
his talent has been proved and he is on the top on his fame as well as his luck is going great these days. Yes, like everyone, fame fades away after some times, while the best way for players to make money is through fame, which is their savings for future life after cricket.

Hi tutul
Dhoni is a different kind of player. He knows how to manage. when he is on field he is a cricketer. out of the field he is different .
I believe that at present situation of Indian cricket team is because of Dhoni's captancy.

Hi tutal,
ya he has the capacity to be a captain for our Indian team.As you said before he come from village and he has the confident to take all the risks.Even though he come from village he knows how to take the Indian team.Under his captaincy,India won the 2007 ICC world twenty20,CB series of 2007-2008 and the Border-Gavaskar trophy 2008 in which they beat Australia 2-0.He also lead the team to their first ever bilateral ODI series wins in Srilanka and New Zealand.I think India got some cups under his captaincy except this year 20-20 worldcup and championship cup.He has also been the recipient of many awards including the ICC ODI player of the year award in 2008(the first indian player to achieve this feet).Currently,Dhoni is the highest ranked ODI batsman on the ICC ranking list. Also he has topped the list of world's top 10 earnings cricketers.India team also got the no 1 team in ICC ranking list under his captaincy. What a man.

Hi ganesh,
U r absolutely right. A lot of our previous captains were not so successful beocz they were scared of the backlashing they usually get from their fans.
I guess Sourav ganguly changed this mentality and now Dhoni is taking it further. U cant win in any sport playing defensively. In no tyime this man has given India so many cups. India should be really proud of our talented captain!
Cheers,

Hi,
Well i have heard this before. A lot of people say that he is very lucky. I wonder people say it beocz a lot of his win has been in the last overs.
I dont know but fortune favours the brave and definately our young captain is a brave guy. You can see it in his walking sytle, he isnt afraid of anything.
Cheers,
Tutul
