ways to live and not only to exist

There have been numerous surveys taken among older people, asking what they would change about their lives if they could.

A very high percentage replied that they would spend more time with their families. The second highest response was that they would care less about things and more about people.

Whatever u said is correct...but that don't happen to people who have a large family to support or financially struggling. They find it very hard to support the family, & they r the people who r living to the full..they work so hard for the happiness of the family, they don't even get time to think of themselves. The people, who have nothing to do, the lazy who don't do anything, r just existing....

Yes, willy, you are right. But how pity that many people don't understand it. In my country, we judge people just by their wealth, such as how many houses, how large the house is, the incoming, car's brand, etc. So many people are chasing the money. But I found the quality of their lives are low. They don't know to taste life. They're missing many precious things in life.

I always think money is just a tool to make us living better. But sometimes, people are controled by money. That's too poor! They work hard to earn money, no time to travel or accompany their spouse, child or do something they favorite. In their opinions, earning is most important. But why, coz you can get big house, luxury life, products with famous brand,... but why? The essential reason I think is to improve the quality of life. But look at the things they have lost while getting money. How poor!

I'm not rich and I don't work hard (I mean I seldom work at home and overtime). But my life style is what I like. I enjoy every minutes in my ilfe. - Maybe some people think I accomplish nothing, my life is meaningless. Who cares? I don't want to live hard.

As you said, life is not only for exist!

I like to have a positive attitude and have some adventure in my life. I found my college days really fun. When I was 20 years old I traveled around the world. I have continued traveling and now have been to more than 50 different countries. I have been snorkeling with small sharks, sting rays, manta rays and turtles. I have seen penguins, dolphins and whales in the wild. I have been safari in Africa. I like going out for days to places of interest. I enjoy the writing that I do. I love going on to my laptop. I live and enjoy my life a great deal.

well even if you dont have much money, you have to make every day special, especially when you have kids. we visit the library a lot and make special meals (like home made pizza using a breadmaker that we got for free). stuff like that to make life interesting.
