Do you call a tradesman everytime something goes wrong in your house?  

Things breakdown all the time, circuit breakers trip, faucets leak, washing machines stop running, door knobs not locking, refrigerator is not getting cold etc etc. Are you courageous enough to try and do troubleshooting and minor fixes depending on the nature of the problem and call a repair man when you can't solve it?

Are you scared that you might make the problem worse and would rather pay to get them fixed?

Labor cost nowadays are getting more and more expensive and many are educating themselves on doing things that will help them save like minor fixes.
