Sharing things with neighbors  | |  This is a situation I was in a couple years ago, and even though it's not a "big deal" I've often wondered what other people's opinions on it would be. I'm going to make it a kind of anonymous story and when I've seen what some others think I'll let you know if I think the same as you about it. This could be interesting!
Couple A and Couple B live in separate units of a duplex, which is an older house that's been made into 2 apartments. There's a common area in the basement where there are hookups for washers and dryers... one for each apartment. When couple A moves in couple B have already been living there and have a washer & dryer. Couple A can't afford a washer and dryer yet, so they ask couple B if they can use theirs for awhile. Should there be any "conditions" that apply to couple A being able to use them?
