Pedestal and bathroom mats

I was listening to the radio the other day and they were talking about pedestal and bathroom mats. They were saying that no one really has them any more and about how untrendy they are! Hey I have them and I am one of the most trendiest 38 year olds I know!! hahah We have tiled floors in our bathroom and toilet so it is nice not to put your feet straight onto a cold floor after getting out of the bath or shower. Do you have mats in your bathroom and toilet?

Oh yes we all have them over here. Not only do theystop you standing ona cold tiled floor but they give a more colourful and warm effect to the bathroom. I would never be without them and the bathroom seems so cold and 'undressed' without them. Maybe it is only in UK that they ar eno longer used? I can't help wondering why they have gone out of fashion - the ecnomic crisis maybe?

Stepping out of the shower onto the tiles bbrrrrrrrrrrr! Then I'm sure I would catch a chill and have to buy meds - so I'd rather buy a bathroom mat in the first place

well i like them and we have them. as long as they dont slip around i see no reason not to have them. you can wash them and it looks good and feels good especially now when we are going to have to try and keep warm. what i didnt like was that my late hubby had carpeting in his bathroom when i first met him. but when i moved in i replaced it with mats. he said it was nice for his bare feet, but like i told him it was nasty and germy

Hi ya bunnybon7 Yes I like the fact that I can easily wash them. A house I used to live in years ago had carpeted toilet, bathroom and kitchen. It drove me nuts!! Thanks

Yes I do have mats in my bathroom. I hate to put my bare feet on cold tiles especially in winter. I prefer to have a mat instead of feeling cold. It gives me a sweet shiver when I am out of a shower and I don't have a mat under my feet.

I have bath mats in my bathroom and a mat around my toilet. Haven't long brought new ones. My children actually soak the bath mats most nights when getting out the bath but I would rather that than they slip on the tiles, plus it is something soft to put your feet on when you get out of the bath. The toilet mat is good espically as I have two boys and the youngest is learning to stand up at the toilet. I think they are very tendy, if they aren't why do the modern shops stock them?
