Well its official: We have a great Transformers 3 story. The release date is now July 2011. Not 2012.

Today is Day One. This morning started with an ILM meeting for five hours in San Francisco. Currently I'm flying with writer Ehren Kruger to Rhode Island to talk to Hasbro about new characters.

"Pain and Gain" is the name of a movie he's been developing for a while. Supposedly it's a small, character driven suspense/thriller - at least that's what i've read in the past. He keeps saying he will do it (I think ever since Pearl Harbor), but keeps getting back into these bigger movies.

Also, there is a link here to buy autographed copies of Transformers 2 on DVD and BluRay. They cost a little extra, but proceeds go to charity.
