City of Love

I have seen a photo of a friend in the tower in paris. It's beautiful but I have not been there. I think that paris is just one country like many others. It has its own good characteristics and it has some bad things. I don't know if it's really a city of love. What I do know about city of love is that city which will be ruled by Jesus Christ out of love.

I was in Paris in January with my boyfriend, and I have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, it is truly romantic, but only if you stick to the tourist areas. The river, the Versailles, the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dam and the old castles and government buildings are all beautiful in architecture and rich in history and culture. Visiting those areas makes you wish that you had a dozen more eyes, just so you can take everything in. However, the other side of Paris is not so glamorous. You have to remember that it is just like any other city. There is crime, gangs, drug dealing, and poverty. Also, I noticed a lot of litter in the sidewalks/streets and many rats and cockroaches. The traffic is absolutely terrible, drivers there are worse than those in Manila.

Yes Paris is wonderful in historical ways but take care of budget. You can wipe out all your money in those fancy stores or in restaurants:)
